At age fifty-three, Nik is still a lunatic sculptor who must be chained up for his own good. His wife, Barbara unlocks him at the beginning of each day so that he can create his insanely unpredictable designs. When they go out to sell, he always promises to be on his best behaviour, but you know how those artists are. He has been a working sculptor for thirty-five years and a jeweler for twenty-six of those years.
